Right now, we remain largely invisible to mainstream social media and traditional media outlets. However, once we begin to be recognized as a distinct and influential voice outside the mainstream narrative, the establishment will likely see the Fediverse as a threat. And they are powerful—very powerful.
Every day, we witness actions from these entities that defy logic, often aimed at consolidating their control over digital spaces.
It's time to think proactively about defending our platforms and infrastructures. We need solid plans to safeguard our independence when that moment arrives.
