WhatsApp ha avvisato circa 200 utenti che sono stati indotti con l'inganno a installare una falsa app che in realtà era uno spyware governativo.
L'azienda ha accusato la società italiana produttrice di spyware SIO di essere dietro l'app e ha annunciato l'intenzione di inviare alla società "una formale diffida legale per fermare qualsiasi attività dannosa di questo tipo".
