So sieht es auch die zuständige französische Datenschutzbehörde (CNIL): Die CNIL hat nun eine Entscheidung veröffentlicht, in der sie sich auf die Seite von noyb stellt – und eine Geldstrafe von €325 Millionen Euro gegen Google verhängt […] Neben der Geldstrafe in Höhe von 325 Millionen Euro hat die CNIL Google angeordnet „Maßnahmen zu ergreifen, um die Anzeige von Werbung zwischen E-Mails in den Postfächern der Nutzer des Gmail-Dienstes ohne vorherige Zustimmung einzustellen und sicherzustellen, dass die Nutzer bei der Erstellung eines Google-Kontos ihre gültige Zustimmung zur Platzierung von Werbe-Cookies geben.“ Google hat nun 6 Monate Zeit, das umzusetzen. Kommt das Unternehmen der Aufforderung nicht nach, muss es eine Strafe von €100.000 pro Tag der Verzögerung zahlen
