Item no. 72935: Somebody sent me a Sharepoint link which required I click a button for a one-time login code - I accidentally went too deep in the SP folder & clicked browser back, which caused a "resend form" event & a new login code from SP, which clearly thougt I'd been logged out, except I wasn't.
Doesn't seem very secure to me.

Wir machen uns hier alle Gedanken um die Umwelt und dann wird mit Steuergeldern die Meyer Werft unterstützt und die baut riesige Kreuzfahrtschiffe.
Die neue Rekordhalterin, die Star of the Seas" von Royal Caribbean, das zweite Schiff der Icon Klass, ist gerade zu ihrer Jungfernfahrt aufgebrochen. In der Maximalbelegung wären 7600 Passagier*innen möglich, bei Doppelbelegung der Kabinen sind es 5600.
Das dritte Schiff ist im Bau, es ist die neue Legends of the Seas und ein weiteres ist in Planung. Alle werden mit LNG betrieben.

Es sei erwähnt, dass mit dieser Schiffsklasse einige Innovationen bei der Antriebstechnik realisiert werden:
Die Kreuzfahrtschiffe dieser Klasse setzen auf einen vergleichsweise emissionsarmen Antrieb durch Brennstoffzellen und Flüssigerdgas.
Das reicht natürlich noch nicht, geht aber in die richtige Richtung und ein Weg beginnt immer mit dem ersten Schritt.
@feb Ja, das auf alle Fälle. Schifffahrt wird auch ein Baustein im Kampf gegen den Klimawandel sein.
Aber diese Riesenschiffe bringen ja noch mehr Probleme mit sich als nur CO2.
Moin @feb , wie kann denn ein Schiffsantrieb mit LNG - bekanntlich fossil und unter großen Schmerzen für Umwelt, Natur und lebende Spezies produziert - innovativ, also gut sein?
Wirklich progressiv und klimafreundlich wären Segel. Vortrieb mit Windenergie. Und Stromversorgung mit Photovoltaik.
Vielleicht ist das auch Thema bei den Hamburg Cruise Days am kommenden Wochenende bzw. bei der Gegenveranstaltung

#Russia media speak a lot about “water blockade of Donbas” but there was no actual “blockade” by #Ukraine - water was supplied to the occupied Donetsk until Russian artillery damaged the Siversky Donets-Donbas pipeline in 2022. Russians were so certain of fast conquest of all Donbas they didn’t care - they just assumed whatever they destroy, they will be able to rebuild after “liberation”. Instead, they cut the whole region, including towns of Donetsk and Mariupol, from fresh water, resulting in self-inflicted humanitarian disaster.
Also in 2022 Russia however also destroyed the main pumping station of Ukrainian #Mykolaiv - and its residents also didn’t have running water since. The town has rebuilt it and now, for the first time in three years, running water returned to Mykolaiv.

I wasn’t very familiar with Roger Casement, a figure of Irish history who was a part of the Easter Uprising in the 1910s, smeared by the British government for being gay, and ultimately executed for both.
Turns out there’s a queer-owned and queer-friendly Irish pub in the Mission called Casements. My friend Tanya Wischerath, who painted the Living Lesbian Legends mural in the Castro, recently completed a mural of Roger Casement on the patio of this bar; it is located between her murals of Dolores O’Riordan of the Cranberries and Sinead O’Connor.
Today there was a big event at Casements to celebrate that Roger Casement will be commemorated with a sidewalk plaque as part of the Castro Honor Walk. I went to support Tanya and also my friend Bobby who created the Modern Queer Tarot with art by Tanya — Casement is the figure on their deck’s Five of Swords card.
