I just don't get the YouTube algorithm. My view count on the last five videos are all over the place:

1,500 views
37,000 views
1,500 views
2,500 views
I find this weird because some of the videos are extremely similar in quality, presentation, length, etc., yet they yield wildly different view counts.
So I looked up @anderspuck
and he has experienced similar inconsistencies.
I really wish that I could publish through a medium that was not such a roll of the dice every time.
In case of the two screenshot, I would say I could have told you before.
Russian war economics is a saturated topic.
I get at least 2 videos of this topic per week in my YT Timeline.

When I used my A52s, I replaced the standard Camera app with GCam – it was an improvement.
There is no consistantly better GCam for the S24 – I tried 3, 2 didn't work and one gave poorer results.
I thus compared three apps:
Camera (stock S24)
Open Camera
Expert RAW (Samsung's high end Camera app)
For me, I found Expert RAW best – when comparing jpeg files.
Has anyone here found a better free camera app for the S24 specifically, not the S24 + or Ultra?

I've read through the comments and it seems like this is a yet another example of a poorly thought-out bug-"feature" wrapped in a bug.
👉 Allowing (javascript!?!?!?) animations in favicon was deliberate.
Because some sites use it to "show message notifications". Wow.
And these whizkids didn't stop ONE MOMENT to think and provide an option to turn it off.
Not in 24 years.
They hate a certain segment of their users (those that can't just "ignore" animations.)

Solution seems to be: remove the bookmark. And then monkey around in some .xul files to disable favicons and restart. Great. I have time for that 🤷🤷🤷
(Luckily, one feature that does work as it should is session restore. That's certainly a good feature - so here's some praise along with the criticism 😉)
I've been lucky not to notice any sites I use having animated favicons, which would bother me as well. What I have done is set layout.frame_rate to 3 (frames per second) in most of my Firefox profiles, and 6 fps for amateur videos. I only use the default frame rate for watching professional videos.
🌿🏫🚸The sounds of the playground faded long ago. This former primary school is located in Scotland. Derelict for over a decade, the glass-covered atrium at the heart of the school has undergone a metamorphosis.
Eventually the damp Scottish climate has helped create a beautiful plant paradise, set against a backdrop of peeling paint and mossy walls.
Sadly, this beautiful location was recently demolished. RIP to this #AbandonedSchool ☠️

In reaching her decision, Judge Cobb took particular note of the aggressive evolution of the #Trump administration’s #immigration policy in recent months.
She wrote that in a race to meet quotas — as high as 3,000 immigration arrests per day — the administration had resorted to staking out #courthouses, targeting people pursuing #asylum claims & other pathways to remain in the country legally.
Cobb also forcefully rejected the #Trump admin’s argument…that immigrants who crossed the border illegally forfeited certain protections, such as the right to fight their removal in court. She warned the argument was so broad it could easily ensnare US citizens.
“In defending this skimpy process, the government makes a truly startling argument: that those who entered the country illegally are entitled to no process under the #FifthAmendment…,” she wrote.
