Can memories be dialed up or down? Our Laboratory of Neuroepigenetics has shown it's possible. By changing the epigenetic "packaging" of DNA in memory neurons, they could reversibly turn memories on and off in mice.
This study, a collaboration with our Bioinformatics Competence Center and the Synapsy Centre, is the first direct proof that epigenetic changes are sufficient to control memory expression, a key step in understanding how our experiences shape our brains.

Help Shanda and their queer household, who are Ukrainian refugees who fled to Georgia, flee again to Spain to escape georgia's increasingly anti-trans environment and government. I feel like the richest person in the world: I still have a line of credit of 18.19 Euros on #Hetzner (I had pre-paid 20 Euros to set up my account 2 months ago).

2020 spendete der Immobilienunternehmer Christoph Gröner 800.000 Euro an die Berliner CDU. Danach sagten sowohl er als auch der heutige Regierende Bürgermeister Kai Wegner in Interviews, die Spende sei mit politischen Erwartungen verknüpft gewesen. Damit wäre sie illegal.
Trotz dieser öffentlichen Aussagen erklärte die Bundestagsverwaltung die Spenden für unbedenklich. Ein von uns beauftragtes Rechtsgutachten kam jedoch zu dem Ergebnis, dass die Begründung, mit der die Verwaltung ihre Prüfung einstellte, rechtswidrig sei.
