It’s been a deadly Mother’s Day in Gaza, with 21 Palestinians across the Strip being killed in Israeli attacks. In the early hours of Sunday morning, war planes struck a tent camp in the south, with five children among the 13 people dead in the attack.

One of those killed was a three-week old baby.

At least 52,829 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s genocidal war since October 2023, the Health Ministry said on Sunday.

I could use some #FediHelp .

As my long-running readers are probably aware, I schedule a _lot_ of posts in advance. I use @bufferapp for this, and I am largely satisfied with this, except for one thing:

They have a fixed character limit of 500 for posts, and thus I cannot make use of the full 10,000 characters of my instance.

This is bad, since most of my scheduled posts are German folk tales exceeding this character limit, and thus I am forced to use screenshots instead of plain texts - which is terrible from an #accessibility point of view (yes, there are readers that can identify the text, but I'd rather use plain text in the first place). So I am looking for alternatives. Here are my requirements:

- It must have a web interface I can use on my desktop PC - I grew up with proper screens and keyboards, and while I _can_ use a smart phone or tablet for complex stuff, I do not find the experience enjoyable.
- It must have a calendar view instead of being a simple, scrollable list - I often schedule posts weeks in advance, and I want to be able to keep track of what is scheduled.
- It must make full use of the character limits of each instance.
- It must allow for scheduling threads - quite a few of the tales I am posting exceed the 10,000 character limit.
- It must work with #Mastodon . While I am aware that other #Fediverse systems (such as #Friendica ) have scheduling options of their own, switching to an entirely different system is a drastic step that I only want to explore when all other options have been exhausted.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

J’ai besoin d’aide.
Voilà,

Le fils de ma voisine, à un smartphone « Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 » bloqué.
Et quand je dis bloqué, c’est qu’il n’est pas possible d’activer le mode « autoriser le débogage USB ».

J’ai cherché sur le net des solutions, mais pratiquement toutes les solutions sont à utiliser avec des applications Windows et je n'ai pas Windows chez-moi.

J'ai suivi les instructions « Appuyez maintenant sur le bouton » Réduction du volume (-) » pour réinitialiser le smartphone, mais apparemment, il n’a pas ce mode « Wipe Data » comme on peut le voir sur l’image,

L’autre capture a été prise sur le net pour comparer.

Fait aussi :
« maintenez-le enfoncé. » et « Tout en maintenant le bouton de réduction de Volume, appuyez sur le bouton Démarrage pour finalement entrer en mode Fastboot de Xiaomi. », mais rien n’y fait, impossible de déverrouiller le Note 12.

J'ai installé ADB sur ma machine avec Linux, mais là aussi, ça ne fonctionne pas.

Je n'arrive pas à trouver de solution.

And when I say blocked, it is that it is not possible to activate the mode "authorize USB debugging".

I've been looking online for solutions, but almost all the solutions are to be used with Windows applications and I don't have Windows at home.

I followed the instructions "Now press the button" Volume reduction (-)" to reset the smartphone, but apparently it did not have this "Wipe Data" mode as can be seen on the image,

The other catch was taken on the net to compare.

Also:
"Keep it down. "While maintaining the Volume Reduction button, press the Start button to finally enter Xiaomi's Fastboot mode. ", but nothing does, impossible to unlock Note 12.

I installed ADB on my machine with Linux, but here too, it doesn't work.

I can't find a solution.
