We had discussions with people at the EC and suggested that an official recommendation that public communications need to be posted to at least one open social network would be a great start, and have a very low cost. It has been heard but I have no clue if this will result in anything.

Lo studente non vuole sostenere l'orale per protesta contro il sistema di valutazione, non so dire molto della sua protesta ma sul sistema di valutazione ha colto un punto secondo me; aveva già raggiunto i 60 punti necessari a superare l'esame; l'associazione nazionale presidi però si preoccupa perché non deve essere emulato e perché la scuola deve educare a "rispettare le regole" e chiede una modifica delle regole perché non si possa piu ripetere. Quindi anziché dire a uno studente che ha pensato con la sua testa che ha fatto una scelta magari discutibile ma coraggiosa e ragionata, hanno paura del contagio...

In 1984, this was about as good as it got for me.
Tonight, I needed to hit a couple of Atari / ATASCII BBSs and all I had at hand was a C64. So..I used "AtariTerm", which does ATASCII, but tops out at 300 baud.
It's like riding a bike through a neighborhood you usually fly though at 40MPH. You see and notice things you would usually miss.
I am no stranger to 300 baud, but it's been a while.
