I'm making slow progress on my latest French knot piece. Slow because I don't want to work on it and am procrastinating but also now even the colors look ugly and off to me. I'm using a 2-ply yarn I spun from a bump of Three Waters Farm hand painted roving that was out of my color comfort zone with purples and pinks. But I'll carry on anyway because I want to see it finished. #embroidery #fiberArt #fibreArt #WIPWednesday
My white suburban lady hand and an embroidery stand clamp holding an enormous wood quilting hoop (seriously: it's a foot in diameter) with a very large heart outline in rose gold purl. The heart is partially filled in starting the top center and lower left with French knots in sections by color so that they look like parts of a map. The colors are pairs of the following: burgundy, deep inky purple, brown, pink, aqua, royal blue, yellow or straw, grass green, and deep forest green.

I guess that, unfortunately, those laws do not contain the circumstances under which they we're installed, do they? The buttons that had been pushed to bring them to life? So, though I'm not an expert, I'm afraid you cannot just not abide to these laws, just because these circumstances have changed. Legally spoken.

But don't get my wrong: I hope that goverments worldwide would nonetheless do that. I loved every inch of Doctorow's 39c3-talk.

@Benedikt Bauer Ok, also war's bei den Krautreportern. Respekt, dass Du schon fast durch bist. Ich hab zwar mal reingeschnuppert, aber bei 90 Prozent der Personenbezeichnungen werde ich nachsehen müssen, wer das war/ist. Außerdem weisen meine Englischkenntnisse deutliche Lücken (nicht nur) im Bereich Biologie und Chemie auf. Kino und TV sind weiterhin auch nicht gerade mein Steckenpferd … Wenn ich das tatsächlich lösen wollen sollte, wird das eine einzige Informationsmangelverwaltungsveranstaltung. 😀
