My sister has recently bought a new house with a big living room.
I think a bonsai would be very nice there and I'd like to make her a gift to celebrate her new house.
My sister has got a little vegetable garden so she has some basic skills about gardening (very basic).
Does a bonsai requires high skills to be managed? Are there "gardeners" that take care of bonsai too?

There are some great youtube channels (notion bonsai, herons bonsai, rakuyo decidious trees, bonsai empire), or for books, I really liked "Bonsai Masterclass" by Kunio Kobayashi.
Most trees need to be kept outdoors for most of the time to thrive, even those sold as "indoor bonsai".
