Endorsed! Michael Veloff for Ohio’s 5th Congressional District

July 25

ICYMI, during our July 19th Pirate National Committee meeting, an impromptu endorsement inquiry led to a long overdue endorsement:

Friend of the Pirate Party and Libertarian candidate for Ohio’s 5th Congressional District Michael “Drunk Uncle” Veloff has been endorsed by the United States Pirate Party.

Veloff, affectionately known in Pirate Party circles as “Doc Agnew,” received our endorsement after a 5-0-1 vote on endorsing. You can catch up on the endorsement process by looking back at our previous meeting here. You can skip to 19:30 to see the endorsement process.

Veloff spoke on how he is running against a nepotism seat, being that the current office holder took over from his father.

Key issues spoken of include bail review, “Guns for Thoughts,” being the giving of guns and proper training to our most vulnerable, and moving the contents of Fort Knox to his basement. He has a perfect space, it’s secure, and he’s sure he has enough space for all the gold remaining in Fort Knox.

Doc joins Tim Grady, Blase Henry, Hunter Rand, Drew Bingaman, and Pete Karas as the candidates endorsed this cycle. Tomorrow, Jacob Anders (who has joined us for two-and-shaping-up-to-be-three episodes) will join our Pirate National Committee meeting, seeking our endorsement.

You can check out Parts I & II and find out learn more about Anders campaign. Veloff will be invited onto a future episode of Talk the Plank! as a guest in the coming weeks.
