The age checks seem to be the newest gateway drug into authoritarianism. Politicians on the mainland have seen the British doing it, and they are green with envy. Because of course the next thing is banning all vpns and anonymizers and go to an Applefied walled garden internet like China that is controllable by bureaucrats and their political bosses.

All the while leaving Nazi bars like X completely open to business.

The Christian Democrats in Sweden voted today on their national congress to oppose Chat Control.

They are one of the parties in goverment.
