Un po' di roadmap di Proton per il 2025
Sono state pubblicate varie roadmap per la primavera/estate (ma non solo) 2025 di Proton Pass, di Proton Mail e Proton Calendar, di Proton Drive e di Proton VPN
Un mini-riassunto lo trovate qui: Proton 2025 spring roadmaps
Le cose più interessanti probabilmente sono:
Proton Pass: possibilità di aggiungere allegati alle casseforti, garantire accesso a terzi in caso di emergenza, campi personalizzati per i siti che non usano i campi classici e predefiniti (🥳).
Proton Mail e Proton Calendar: visualizzazione per categorie e finalmente la possibilità di salvare gli allegati direttamente su Proton Drive. Diversi aggiornamenti per Proton Calendar su iOS.
Proton Drive: album per le fotografie, miglioramenti per macOS e alcune novità su Proton Docs come l'accesso per commentare i documenti e la funzione "cerca e sostituisci".
Proton VPN: arriva finalmente lo split-tunneling per macOS e Linux e verrà migliorato il NetShield. La possibilità di usare DNS personalizzati invece è già presente da poco. Sul resto delle novità sembra non esserci troppe cose entusiasmanti.

Polonia: gli USA lasciano la base di Rzeszów, ombre di un disimpegno
Gli Stati Uniti ritireranno i propri soldati e il proprio equipaggiamento militare dalla base di Rzeszów, nel sudest della Polonia, vicino al confine dell'Ucraina, per riposizionarli in altri siti del Paese.
Lo ha annunciato oggi il Comando dell'esercito statunitense in Europa e Africa.
Nel comunicato viene riportato che i militari verranno ricollocati in altri siti (sempre in Polonia) e che il comando della base di Rzeszów sarà affidato alla guida polacca e della NATO.
L'operazione permetterà ai contribuenti americani di risparmiare decine di milioni di dollari (sic).
Non si tratta quindi di un ridimensionamento, ma di un riposizionamento, hanno sottolineato il presidente polacco Duda e il ministro della difesa Kosiniak-Kamysz, che hanno subito voluto gettare acqua sul fuoco.
Il problema è che questo annuncio giunge in contemporanea con una notizia rimbalzata dalla NBC, e finora non confermata né smentita, di un possibile ridimensionamento del numero di militari americani nell'Europa orientale, circa 10mila tra Polonia e Romania.
Questa mossa cozzerebbe con tutte le rassicurazioni fatte fin qui da Washington circa il suo impegno nella regione, e creerebbe forte instabilità nell'area. Vale la pena ricordare come tra poche settimane proprio Polonia e Romania si recheranno alle urne per due tornate elettorali estremamente importanti.

Il 18 marzo il parlamento ungherese ha approvato un emendamento alla legge sul diritto di assemblea, che di fatto vieta l'organizzazione pubblica del Pride.
In caso di trasgressione gli eventuali partecipanti potranno essere sanzionati con multe fino a 500 euro. La loro identificazione potrà avvenire tramite registrazione delle immagini e utilizzo di software di riconoscimento facciale.
Nel mio servizio uscito su Valigia Blu, parto da questa storia di straordinario restringimento delle libertà civili per raccontarvi il momento storico che sta vivendo l'Ungheria. Mentre Orbán lancia cupe dichiarazioni, il suo partito si trova per la prima volta in difficoltà nei sondaggi. A un anno dalle elezioni la partita è aperta.
Per capire dove siamo e come siamo arrivati fin qui è utile riavvolgere il nastro degli ultimi 15 anni.
