Boycotts are taking hold. Protests are on the rise. Federal courts are hitting back. The Trump-Musk-Vance regime's popularity is plunging and DOGE is losing credibility. In these dark times, it's important to recognize that people are fighting back. Join them.

A mural under a bridge in Castelldefels, Spain, featuring a snarling wolf with glowing blue eyes and sharp fangs, surrounded by mist-like energy. The artwork blends with intricate graffiti lettering on both sides and a backdrop of dark mountains under a night sky with a glowing blue halo. The wolf's fur is meticulously detailed, giving it a strikingly realistic yet mythical appearance.

By Erso Cas, Scorns One and Chesky in Castelldefels, Spain.

5.

A large trompe-l'œil mural by Rober Bece in Santa Marta de Tormes, Spain, depicting a picturesque town square with cobblestone streets, colorful Mediterranean-style buildings, balconies, a fountain, and a bar with an orange awning. The artwork seamlessly blends with the surrounding architecture, making the entire scene appear three-dimensional. The illusion is especially striking in the way it interacts with the real parking lot in front of it.

6.

A mural by SEAROK in Freital, Germany, depicting a large, semi-abstract skeleton painted in shades of gold, purple, and black. The skeletal figure appears to be emerging from the cracked concrete wall, holding another skull in its hands in a dramatic and almost theatrical pose. The highly detailed rendering of the bones contrasts with graffiti-style lettering on the left side, adding an urban, surreal touch to the piece.

7.

A mural by LAEC in Mont-de-Marsan, France, depicting two young girls in blue dresses crouching by a shallow pool of water, playing and exploring. The hyperrealistic artwork is accented with bold red leaves against a teal background, adding a dreamlike, painterly contrast. Their wet clothes and glowing skin reflect the sunlight, making the scene feel alive and full of nostalgia.

8.

A mural by Jay Mack in Passaic, New Jersey, depicting Doctor Doom seated on a throne, hands clasped in deep contemplation. His metallic armor gleams under a green cloak, with one glowing eye exuding an eerie power. The cosmic background bursts with vibrant energy, fiery meteors, and electrical currents, creating an epic, otherworldly atmosphere. A bold tribute to the iconic Marvel villain.

11.

A large-scale mural by Jota López in Madrid, Spain, titled El Abrazo. The artwork features two overlapping portraits—an elderly woman in grayscale and a younger woman in vibrant shades of pink, blue, and purple. Digital pixelation and glitch-like effects fragment the composition, blending tradition with modernity. Circular windows on the building integrate seamlessly into the design, enhancing the illusion. A small figure stands beneath the towering mural, emphasizing its scale.

“El abrazo” by Jota López in Madrid, Spain for Mural Talaz.

12.

A colorful mural by Zeon and Luis Zúñiga in Mexico City, depicting two anthropomorphic cats with exaggerated expressions. On the left, a tough, streetwise cat in a hoodie grips a spray can, with narrowed eyes and sharp fur. On the right, an older, disheveled cat with a white beard and wide eyes sips from a steaming coffee mug adorned with a Hello Kitty design. The background features a chain-link fence, flying cartoonish birds, and neon city lights, adding to the comic-book-style energy of the piece. A real cat casually strolls past, blending into the scene.

By Zeon and Luis Zuñiga in Mexico City.

13.

A surreal mural by Zike in Toul, France, featuring a humanoid figure with a cassette tape for a head, complete with spinning reels and a distorted, melted expression. The character, dressed in a vintage streetwear outfit, rides a highly detailed flying carpet, gripping its edges like a skateboarder. In one hand, they hold a megaphone, while a suitcase trails behind, emitting a smoky, dreamlike aura. The background is a soft pink and purple sunset with silhouetted palm trees, giving the piece a retro-futuristic, psychedelic feel.

By Zike in Toul, France.

14.

A colorful mural by Matteo “Ilcoffee” Fronduti in Bastia, Italy, featuring a playful rendition of Batman and The Penguin, surrounded by graffiti-style lettering and classic comic book sound effects like 'Kapow!' and 'Zap!!!'. Batman, in a deep purple suit, makes a hand gesture as if adjusting his mask, while The Penguin smirks mischievously in his signature hat and monocle. The bright yellow Batman logo pops against the dynamic, nostalgic design, blending street art with pop culture.

A mural by Mick in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, featuring a grayscale portrait of a young woman with colorful highlights in her hair, wrapped in a headscarf. Her gaze is strong and serene, set against a geometric pastel backdrop with a blooming lotus flower and a heart-shaped ‘Respeto’ (Respect) message in elegant script. Flowing purple and blue waves add movement, symbolizing harmony and empowerment.

16.

A mural by BZKS in Thessaloniki, Greece, depicting a grayscale portrait of a young boy wearing oversized pink sunglasses with the word 'FREEDOM?' written across the lenses. The boy gazes upward at a realistic bee hovering above, while a second bee appears only as a shadow on the wall. The contrast between the monochrome face and the vibrant sunglasses adds depth and symbolism, inviting reflection on freedom and perspective.

A mural by Juan Pablo and Adán Yadir Rodríguez in Tampico, Mexico, featuring a Xoloitzcuintli dog painted in a hyperrealistic style with colorful Día de los Muertos-inspired decorations on its face. Beside it, a sugar skull adorned with intricate floral patterns and neon hues glows against a cosmic black background. The mural is framed by geometric shapes in bright pink, green, and purple, adding a modern, abstract touch to the traditional Mexican symbolism.

A striking mural by Elgee featuring a neon-lit portrait of a woman with bold piercings, dark lipstick, and oversized round sunglasses reflecting the surrounding world. Her hair flows in shades of hot pink and yellow, blending seamlessly into the background. A spiked choker and sharp nails add an edgy, rebellious touch, making the piece radiate with attitude and intensity.

19.

A mural by Diego Capuena in Yurimaguas, Peru, featuring three portraits of Manuel Capuena set against a lush jungle backdrop. The largest figure in the foreground places a hand over his chest, where a vivid scene of a tropical landscape, complete with a thatched-roof hut, waterfall, and sunset, is painted within his body. You saying all bad people are monsters is no different than someone saying all people who join cults are idiots. It's equally as fallacious because, while there are stupid people who join cults, there are also intelligent people who join cults due to emotional manipulation, a longing for meaning, etc, and the same is true for some people who do bad things, which is why it's fallacious to make such a hasty generalization. 2/2

@cruftyold
That's not what I said at all. I acknowledged the existence of genuinely bad people. I'm only saying that labeling every single person who does bad things as a monster is overly simplistic because it doesn't take into consideration the many factors that caused them to take their actions and just generalizes them as "monsters." It's unscientific and fallacious thinking.
