I'd be surprised if there wasn't. Tech politics has been a broad church for a long time, including a lot of sheltered, right-leaning men. I remember David Farrar (Mr KiwiBlog) on a panel at the only NetHui I've been to.
But in recent years a lot of pressure has built up on the fault lines between the factions. Responses to this govt can't really be neutral, so it's reaching breaking point in a lot of organisation.

Different actors are pushing different agendas in the national states, the EU parliament and the comission. So it would be important to recognize and support the ones that support rule of law and universal human rights.
