If you talk about it they will get scared. They feel helpless.
What they don't know is there's alternatives, mitigation and countermeasures.

Eine interessante Wetterentwicklung steht in dieser Woche bevor: Ein Trog wird nach Osten abgedrängt, verwandelt sich dort in einen Kaltlufttropfen und bewegt sich anschließend zurück nach Deutschland. Aufgrund seines quasistationären Verhaltens können über Osteuropa unwetterartige Regensummen zwischen 80 und 150 l/m² auftreten. Besonders spannend ist diese Entwicklung im Hinblick auf das weitere Sommerwetter, denn der Kaltlufttropfen wirkt als Störimpuls und kann die Stabilität eines Hochdruckgebiets entscheidend beeinflussen.

That's exactly why I'm establishing Pixelfed as a non-profit entity with our core principles (no ads, no selling out, federated projects only, user privacy and safety as a main priority) legally enshrined in our charter.
