the plane is a classic example of survivor bias: only the planes that didn't get shot in critical areas returned, but at first the response was to add armor to the places that got shot the most, which is the wrong action since clearly if they got shot that much it didn't really matter for the survival of the plane.

I'm pretty chuffed that I managed to recreate the title font effect from the leader of TROS Wondere Wereld in Blender (and even managed to animate it).
Even though I did a short stint as sysadmin at the Blender institute way back, and appeared in one of the Blender movies as an extra, I'm by no means well versed in Blender and I regard those who are very high. But with a bit of experimentation, I managed to create this.

Wenn ein Benutzerkonto gelöscht wird, dann dauert es ja 7 Tage, bis dieses endgültig gelöscht wird. So weit, so gut.
Wieso werden mir aber dann unter "/moderation/users/deleted" die gelöschten Benutzerkonten immer noch angezeigt, obwohl die 7 Tage vorbei sind? Hat dies einen bestimmten Grund?
Weil das Löschen aus der Datenbank sehr wahrscheinlich noch nicht abgeschlossen ist. Wenn viel Content gelöscht werden muss, dauert das je nach Anzahl von Accounts gerne mal mehrere Wochen. Erst wenn alles gelöscht ist, wird ganz zum Schluss der Nutzer selbst gelöscht.
Es kann aber auch sein, dass es ein Problem beim Löschen gibt. Stichwort: foreign key constraints - dann siehst du aber entsprechende "DB error" Meldungen im Log.

Wahrscheinlich ja. Kommt natürlich auch darauf an, wie viele Daten die Nutzerkonten in der DB gespeichert haben.
Habe zuletzt ca. 1200 Accounts in einem Rutsch gelöscht. Das hat 2 Monate gedauert. 😀 Während der Zeit sieht man auch ständigt DELETE FROM ... Queries, die teilweise sehr lange laufen.
Oha... 1200 Konten. Das ist mal eine Hausnummer.

Musst du was manuell in 'post-engagement' löschen. Ist nicht ganz trivial rauszufinden, was genau.
Grundsätzlich betrifft es die id 5468731 in der Tabelle contact. Dieser Datensatz kann nicht gelöscht werden, weil er noch eine Referenz in post-engagement hat.
Ohne jetzt nachgesehen zu haben, hat wahrscheinlich der 'contact' mit id 5468731 auch eine owner-id. Die musst du per SELECT ... FROM contact WHERE ... rausfinden. Diese owner-id müsste sich auch in der Tabelle 'post-engagement' wiederfinden lassen.
Dann musst du erst in post-engagement die Datensätze löschen, die diese owner-id haben. Dann löst sich der Rest von selbst.
Das Ganze ohne Garantie. Bitte doppelt prüfen, ob du auch den richtigen Zusammenhang zwischen beiden Tabellen erwischst, sonst löscht du was falsches. 😀

Just keep an eye on the size of your database. Enable Mastodon Apps bulked mine out really quickly and I spent a while deleting tens of thousands of lines directly from the database after removing the plugin (no other way to do it).
EMA, along with Friends, is a very promising plugin with some great features and functionality but bulking out the database with no setting* to auto delete is a problem.
*In Friends there is a setting to only keep X amount of posts and/or only from X amount of time but the plugin doesn’t appear to take any notice of the parameters set.
Dlaczego i po co?
Znam nawyki, które na tę chwilę pomagają zadbać mi o zdrowie i rozwoju pasji, a cały system ma pomóc mi się zrelaksować i być przy sobie, ze sobą i nie wsiąknąć w net.
Bo mam też ogromny problem z samotnością, a wsiąkanie w net nic tu nie daje od lat, więc przekonuje sama siebie do wychodzenia do ludzi.
I jestem bardzo ciekawa, co się stanie po tylu dniach ciągłego działania w ten sposób.
Oczywiście, jak będę chora, to zawieszę challenge, odpuszczam sobie też dzień wyjazdu na koncert Eda, ale tak to nie widzę przeszkód do działania. Pod tym wpisem będzie cotygodniowy wpis z podsumowaniem, albo i częściej, jak będę mieć potrzebę.
5 dni. 2 dni wymagały wciśnięcia hamulca.
Ale mam obietnice daną samą sobie, że następne 5 tygodni jadę dzień w dzień, chyba że choroba mnie powstrzyma.
A co działo się przez te 5 dni? Powrót do rutyny po wyjeździe, chociaż na wyjeździe jej strzępki były zachowane. Mam też wniosek, że chciałabym na kolejnych wyjazdach wkładać więcej takiej rutyny, bo daje mi ona dużo dobra i równowagi. Najbardziej po powrocie cieszy ruch, bo mam wykupione dostęp do studia jogi online oraz czytanie.
Wchodzę też w moje pasje mocniej.
