i have caldav and carddav synchronized with davx5. how can I get birthday entries in calender like i was used to in outlook and M365?
sychronizing calender to google calendar is not an option. i was searching the web, but everywhere I look, they sync to google.
all contacts with birthday are stored on the smartphone.

I sync the calendars & address books of my desktop computer and smartphone with a local Nextcloud instance. The latter already automatically creates a subscribeable calendar from the birthdays of existing contacts, but the calendar programmes themselves (aCalendar on the smartphone, KOrganizer on the desktop) also offer to display the birthdays from the device's address book in the calendar.
This could therefore be solved on both the server and client side.

Una de les primeres coses quan configuro un servidor Ubuntu Server és instal·lar #Unbound per a tenir resolució de noms (#DNS) en local, així el servidor no ha de fer peticions DNS als servidors DNS de Google, Cloudfare etc 😀 (per privacitat).
