Meine Eltern waren mit uns nie im Museum, was mir gestern das erste Mal bewusst geworden ist. Mit der Schule waren wir im Freilichtmuseum Cloppenburg, das muss in der fünften Klasse gewesen sein. Mit 17 bin ich ausgezogen, nach Hannover. Und mir tat sich eine neue Welt auf! Das Landesmuseum habe ich geliebt. Ich fand es unglaublich, dass es kostenlos war. Meine Kinder waren früh und oft in Museen und lieben es heute noch. Gestern waren wir zur Museumsnacht unterwegs.
@Gelamarina Es spricht aus meiner Sicht so viel dafür, Museen zumindest in gewissem Umfang umsonst zu machen - in Italien ist für Europäer unter 26 oft das Museum frei. Besser als 18, weil man ja meist dann erst selbst die Flügel ausbreitet.

@Xela Ich mochte den Bahnhof Bregenz immer gerne... Da gab es sogar Duschen... damals in den frühen 1990ern.
Das besondere am Bf. Bregenz ist ja, dass die eigentliche Bahnseite der Busbahnhof ist. Denn als der Bf. Bregenz gebaut wurde, waren noch Pläne die Bahn im Pfänder zu versenken aktuell. Also baute man den Bf. so, dass man im Fall des tatsächlichen Baues des Pfändertunnels (die Einfahrt wäre irgendwo in der St. Anna Gasse unter dem Landhaus gewesen) einfach nur Bus und Bahnseite tauscht...
Aber in Wahrheit wäre die Lage des alten Bahnhofs - stadtnäher - deutlich sinnvoller.
