Am not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but we have "activated" the "advanced web" setting and now have a webpage with just 2 columns but they only occupy 2/3 of the webpage. I wouldn't want my server to be the source of misinfo, but I also don't always know what is misinfo. journo outlets having their own servers with native AP articles that we could boost might help with this, cause then they are the source and can be debated.
fedi rules are tough imo. have whatever rules you want on your server, but only fediblock for harassment because that harms the network.
of course and I think one is happening, but some will say it's not but also that what Israel is doing is necessary. others will look at that as genocide justification etc.
a similar argument erupts around all policy: how bad that policy is and whether supporting it is hateful towards a group. using slurs is obvious harassment but so much else isn't.
I don't think Jewish people are lying when they say they FEEL that a lot of rhetoric re Israel is antisemitic, even factual statements.
if I say there is a genocide happening in Gaza (and I do) but somebody else on my server says it is not and that they support the IDF activities, should I consider that a violation of such a rule? No. That is genocide denial, not genocide justification. Justification is when people accept that a genocide is taking place, but they claim there's some reason that it is necessary.

ok but my point is they are justifying the same shit, something I consider genocide.
it's kinda relevant imo because I think different people honestly think different things are hateful and should be unacceptable. and in my experience, it is criticism of Israel where the left tends to draw the line differently. we're generally quick to say that comments that upset other groups should not be tolerated, but I think we're different re comments re Israel that some Jews consider antisemitic.
Black People and anything connected with us is debated all over the world. Most people never discuss the rights of gay or disabled people whichis a bigger problem.
I'm pro Palestinian but you shouldn't have compared the suffering of one group to the suffering of other groups.
