Brutally Beaten Under Greek Pushback
In the early hours of October 25, a boat carrying 34 people – 11 of them small children – left Karaburun, Turkey, hoping to reach Pasas island northeast of Chios.
Deep inside Greek waters the boat was stopped by a Greek Coast Guard vessel. Masked men boarded in a RIB, threatened the passengers at gunpoint, beat several of them, and threw the engine into the sea before towing the boat back toward Turkey.
One young girl hid her phone and called Aegean Boat Report at 02:36. We alerted the Turkish Coast Guard and stayed in contact for nearly an hour until rescue arrived. Videos and photos clearly showed injured people and confirmed what happened.
For more than five years Greek authorities have kidnapped, beaten, tortured and even killed men, women and children at Europe’s border – in the name of “border protection”. Independent investigations by Frontex’s Fundamental Rights Office and OLAF have proven systematic pushbacks, cover-ups and EU complicity.

Call me cynical but there seems to be a world of difference to how Angela Rayner's troubles were 'dealt' with & how Reeves have played out; it almost like the no.10 goons wanted rid of Rayner, but have been more forthright in protecting Reeves?

I'd probably played cabinets before that point, though. (Space Invaders was probably old hat by that point, but I remember Defender, Zaxxon, and Tempest in the local swimming pool.)

My first computer game was Colossal Cave Adventure.
My dad was an early programmer and during the 70's he brought home a terminal for access to the data center on evenings and weekends.
I was allowed to use it within reason and as long as he wasn't.
CCA was one of the first things I stumbled upon.
Damn, now I feel really old...

Castle Wolfenstein, definitely, because my parents had a save of that they'd been running over and over for years (the original game auto-generated the map but if you reset right after you died you could preserve your map configuration instead of starting a new game with a new map).
