Das Leben in Russland hat sich mehr als drei Jahre nach Kriegsbeginn tiefgreifend verรคndert โ es ist eine neue Normalitรคt eingetreten. Die anfรคngliche Aufregung ist einer seltsamen Ruhe gewichen: Der Ausnahmezustand ist Alltag geworden.
So auch in einem Dorf im Norden Russlands, fernab der Front. Die Menschen fรผhren zwar ihr Leben weiter, doch der Krieg zeigt sich auch hier โ durch die ankommenden Sรคrge. Fรผr viele wird spรผrbar, dass der Krieg real ist, dass Sรถhne, Ehemรคnner und Vรคter nicht zurรผckkehren.
Und mit dem Tod kommt auch viel Geld โ sogenannte Entschรคdigungszahlungen des Staates, die im Volksmund nur noch als โSarggeldโ bezeichnet werden (...)".
