So I drove 8 hours to deliver the server, and then it traveled ANOTHER 9 hours all the way to Chicago to live with my friends at Nulled LLC (small colo/VPS company). ร una tecnologia piรน economica dell'FM e oggi quasi in disuso, ma ancora sfruttata da piccole emittenti locali
In Italia la storia dellโAM รจ legata soprattutto alla Rai, che cominciรฒ a trasmettere in onde medie nel 1924, quando ancora si chiamava URI (Unione Radiofonica Italiana). Lo ha fatto fino al 2022, quando spense tutti i trasmettitori in modulazione di ampiezza usati da Rai Radio 1, che era lโultima rete a diffondere ancora su quelle frequenze.
Fino a dieci anni fa in Italia le frequenze in onde medie (AM) erano riservate per legge quasi esclusivamente alla Rai, che era di fatto lโunico grande operatore autorizzato a usarle, insieme a poche altre emittenti private. Le cose sono cambiate nel 2015, quando una legge ha riconosciuto al ministero dello Sviluppo economico (oggi delle Imprese e del Made in Italy) il diritto di assegnare le frequenze in onde medie anche a emittenti private.
Oggi le emittenti regolarmente autorizzate che trasmettono in onde medie sono circa una trentina.
Negli ultimi anni molte di queste emittenti hanno iniziato a utilizzare il sistema DRM (Digital Radio Mondiale), una tecnologia che consente di trasmettere in formato digitale sulle stesse frequenze dellโAM. Il segnale viene convertito in digitale, diventando piรน stabile e meno soggetto a interferenze, con una qualitร del suono simile a quella dellโFM ma con la stessa copertura a lunga distanza delle onde medie tradizionali.
Il DRM, inoltre, permette di trasmettere contemporaneamente in analogico e digitale, cosรฌ da raggiungere sia i vecchi ricevitori sia quelli di nuova generazione.

Just watched a delightfully oblivious young woman with curly bobbed black hair and her attention somewhere else get on the five. The train was crowded and her book bag not all the way in the door as it closed; so I gave it a gentle push from the platform (that could easily be me!) anyway I got most of her in but not one of the straps on the bag which the subway door chomped.
And she was off! Looking around confused why she couldnโt get away from the door.

Brutally Beaten Under Greek Pushback
In the early hours of October 25, a boat carrying 34 people โ 11 of them small children โ left Karaburun, Turkey, hoping to reach Pasas island northeast of Chios.
Deep inside Greek waters the boat was stopped by a Greek Coast Guard vessel. Masked men boarded in a RIB, threatened the passengers at gunpoint, beat several of them, and threw the engine into the sea before towing the boat back toward Turkey.
One young girl hid her phone and called Aegean Boat Report at 02:36. We alerted the Turkish Coast Guard and stayed in contact for nearly an hour until rescue arrived. Videos and photos clearly showed injured people and confirmed what happened.
For more than five years Greek authorities have kidnapped, beaten, tortured and even killed men, women and children at Europeโs border โ in the name of โborder protectionโ. Independent investigations by Frontexโs Fundamental Rights Office and OLAF have proven systematic pushbacks, cover-ups and EU complicity.
