Alle interessanten Fragen wurden mit Ausflüchten beantwortet. Vom Microtargeting wusste sie nichts, das haben alles ihre Mitarbeiter gemacht. Dass sie sich nur sehr einseitig mit Fachleuten getroffen hat, und Kinderschutzexperten, die ihrer Meinung widersprechen seit Monaten ignoriert liegt daran, dass sie ja keine Zeit habe sich mit allen zu treffen. Immer dann, wenn es spannend wurde kam der Verweis auf das Leid der armen kleinen Kinder, die ja nur durch ihren Vorschlag und nichts anderes geschützt werden können. Zynisch, wie sehr sie Kinder und den Kinderschutz instrumentalisiert, um sich vor Kritik zu schützen.

Ich habe Twitter vor einem Jahr verlassen, als mir klar wurde, wie das dort weitergehen wird. Ich habe zwar mit Mastodon eine neue Heimat, aber ich merke dass für mein Themengebiet OSINT sich viel weniger aktiv beteiligen. Weder beim Teilen von Infos noch beim Kommentieren ist so viel los wie es auf Twitter war. Dennoch würde ich nicht zurück gehen. Einige sehr relevante User sind auch hier. Das muß dann halt reichen.

EU-Kommission, Rat und Parlament verhandeln derzeit im Trilog die finale Fassung der KI-Verordnung. In der morgigen Verhandlungsrunde geht es vor allem um den Hochrisikobereich. Und gerade hier weist die Verordnung noch Lücken auf, die eine neue Qualität der Massenüberwachung ermöglichen würden.

Im digitalen Raum verbreiten sich Informationen rasend schnell. Dazu gehören auch Falschmeldungen und Desinformation. Die Forderung, solche Inhalte bereits beim leisesten Verdacht auf Unwahrheit zu löschen, greift aber zu kurz und birgt Gefahren.

Löschen von Falschbehauptungen hat zudem den Effekt, dass Kontextualisierung plötzlich tote Links enthalten kann und damit der Kommentierung der Boden entzogen wird.
Plötzlich bekommen Statements „das war so nicht“ mehr Macht, da das Original nicht mehr von Nutzer_innen eingesehen werden kann. Das führt dann dazu, dass Glauben und Hörensagen zur Basis der Diskussion werden.
(Beispiel: Precht/Lanz Podcast, Aussage Prechts nachträglich entfernt)
