Sind nicht auch noch andere Länder dagegen? Kürzlich habe ich irgendwo gelesen, dass sich die Finnen gegen die #Chatkontrolle ausgesprochen hätten. Die Österreicher waren glaube ich auch kritisch.
Vielleicht reicht es ja noch, um diesen gefährlichen Eingriff in die #Bürgerrechte zu stoppen, oder zumindest so zu verwässern, dass es zu sinnloser aber unschädlicher Symbolpolitik verkommt (was es auch jetzt schon ist).

Die Bundesregierung entschied sich mit dem Registermodernisierungsgesetz Anfang 2021 dagegen, die Sicherheit von Daten und Personen an die erste Stelle zu setzen. Das zeigen Dokumente aus einer IFG-Anfrage. Dabei hätte es datenschutzfreundliche Alternativen gegeben, etwa zum einheitlichen Personenkennzeichen oder zum Umgang mit der Auskunftssperre.
