Immer wieder wurde die Einführung des neuen Ein-/Ausreisesystems der EU verschoben, nun soll es Ende 2024 kommen. Alle Reisenden aus Drittstaaten müssen dann ihre biometrischen Daten abgeben. Das verlängert Grenzkontrollen drastisch.

Plötzlich könnte alles ganz schnell gehen. Mit einem Kompromissvorschlag will die spanische Ratspräsidentschaft die Chatkontrolle-Kritiker doch noch zu einem Ja bewegen. Doch weiterhin steht im Vorschlag, „dass verschlüsseltes Material in den Anwendungsbereich der Verordnung fallen sollte“.

In einem Bericht zeichnet Amnesty International nach, welche Unternehmen mit ihren „weniger tödlichen Waffen“ an der Niederschlagung von Protesten weltweit beteiligt sind. Auch europäische Firmen verdienen mit. Die Menschenrechtsorganisation fordert eine strengere Regulierung für den Handel solcher Waffen.

Eigentlich ist die Sache klar: Der EuGH hat die Vorratsdatenspeicherung gekippt und die Ampel hatte sich auf Alternativen verständigt. Doch CDU und CSU wollen „Spielräume“ nutzen & IP-Adressen sammeln lassen. Unterstützung bekamen sie heute bei Anhörung im Bundestag von Sachverständigen der SPD:
