I've just stumbled across Aral Balkan's reference to the “platinum sponsors” and “premium sponsors” of the CPDP conference yesterday: Google, TikTok, Microsoft, Apple, Uber [edit] and Mozilla among them - which sounds a bit like turning the buck into the farmer to me.
