Good luck with forcing Amazon so they let users delete their phone numbers from their Amazon accounts and/or stop receiving SMS from them, change the privacy settings regarding to cookies (they reset those every 24h to accept all cookies without letting the user know).

Es drängt mich zu ergänzen, dass man sogar Motivationen in ihrer Struktur modellieren und Strategien zur Umsetzung in ihrer Wirksamkeit auf die Motivationen. Und dann fände man heraus, dass IT-Produkte Geschäftsprozesse unterstützen, welche man in einer digitalen Variante erstmal finden muss.

Nennt man Enterprise Architektur, kennt kaum jemand und wenn doch, hält es nur auf, schnell einen Haken bei "(irgendwas dazu ist) auf der Website online" melden zu können.

Wenn das was #Thorn behauptet funktionieren würde, könnten Sie das problemlos am Öffentlich zugänglichen Internet beweisen. Das dürfte dann quasi nirgends mehr Strafbares Bildmaterial enthalten

wie sieht es aus mit den Piraten in Hessen und in Bayern? Ich möchte ungern gute Politiker verlieren, aber die Piraten Partei hat sich bisher nicht wieder positiv auf der breiten, deutschen politischen Bühne präsentieren können. Bei den aktuellen Umfragen und den politischen Strömungen finde ich mich gezwungen, meine Stimme nicht einfach entfallen zu lassen an Parteien unter Hürde und kann leider nicht meine Wunschpartei wählen.

@SomeAnoTooter Die 5%-Hürde bei der Landtagswahl können wir nicht schaffen (bei der Bezirkswahl Mittelfranken sind wir ohne Hürde wählbar). Trotzdem wähle ich #Piraten aus Überzeugung. Hinterher ärgere ich mich sonst darüber, was das "geringere Übel" nach der Wahl alles anrichtet.

DepreDATI è un laboratorio in cui si imparano e si condividono le tecniche di difesa dalla sorveglianza digitale.

Si rivolge a tutti coloro che hanno a cuore la propria privacy nel mondo digitale e che non vogliono essere profilati dalle Big Tech. Si propone a non specialisti, non geek, non maghi dell’informatica, che vogliono riappropriarsi della loro vita digitale e non regalare la propria identità a chi ne trae profitto.

La progressiva privatizzazione di Internet da parte delle Big Tech ha costruito un’economia dal valore inimmaginabile. A ottobre 2022 la capitalizzazione dei GAFAM (Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft) è stata stimata nell’ordine dei 7 triliardi di dollari, poco meno della metà del PIL di tutti i Paesi dell’Eurozona.

Uno dei principali fattori di questa economia è la monetizzazione dei dati comportamentali degli utenti. Gli utenti dei servizi Internet vengono costantemente profilati, e i loro profili, le loro identità digitali vengono venduti al migliore offerente; e gli acquirenti non sono solo fornitori di pubblicità, ma anche partiti politici ed enti governativi.

DepreDATI intende sviluppare consapevolezza sulla sorveglianza digitale, perché crediamo che la divulgazione sia un valore. Il funzionamento e le tecniche del capitalismo della sorveglianza non sono di dominio pubblico ma impattano il dominio pubblico: per questo la divulgazione a un pubblico non specialistico è importante

L’approccio del laboratorio è concreto: spieghiamo e condividiamo soluzioni per limitare la sorveglianza digitale a livelli diversi, dai più semplici a quelli radicali su smartphone, tablet e PC.

bello. bene. ma...
...mi domando quanti "non geek" abbiano a cuore la propria privacy o quella dei propri cari/simili (o anche solo sapere cosa sia la privacy e cosa possa causare la non privacy).
Dovreste andare nelle medie e nelle superiori !! Ormai noi adulti ci siamo bruciati irriparabilmente...

@Antony bello ma difficile perchè "la scuola non ha risorse" (e credo sia ovvio che ne avrà sempre meno). Qualche incontro in alcune scuole qua e là mi sembra non certo idoneo ma più fattibile a oggi... magari alcuni dedicati anche agli insegnanti e ai presidi...

Good argument.

OTOH, I can see one MEP with a bag of badges registering his whole fraction who are all doing a PJ party 20km away from the EU border. (Ok so perhaps only one MEP doing it for a couple good friends?)

@yacc143 So far they have personnel at the point of registration. Another option could be to show the photo of the badge owner on a large screen for matching.

Interessant finde ich in diesem Zusammenhang, dass ich im Firefox sowohl AdblockPlus als auch Ghostery nutze

Da ich auch etliche Internetseiten nutze, die sich über Werbung finanziere, schalte ich AdblockPlus auf diesen Seiten aus.

Dann gib es aber so Seiten, wie die Bild oder Wetter.com die auch mit abgeschaltetem AdblockPlus nicht funktionieren, da sie mit Deep Cookies und Trackern arbeiten, die Ghostery blockiert. Da erscheint dann die Meldung schalten sie ihren Adblocker ab

Ich bin alles andere als ein Meta-Fan, noch nicht mal ein "Kunde" um genau zu sein, aber hier könnten Meta prinzipiell recht haben.

Die Plattformen zu betreiben und weiterzuentwickeln kostet eine Stange Geld. Wahrscheinlich eher keine 100€/User, aber doch schon ordentlich was.

Könnte mir schon vorstellen, dass die Kosten in Summe die Einnahmen übersteigen, die sich nur mit unpersonalisierter Werbung erzielen lassen.

✅ A clear & objective process to decide which AI systems are high-risk - no #BigTech loopholes!
✅ Transparency for ALL high-risk AI uses, including for police & migration use.

wie setzt sich der Wert zusammen? Für wen ist Twitter noch wertvoll und warum? Für mich ist Twitter wertlos, wobei ich für Mastodon zahlen könnte oder es für z.B. Spotify tue.(könnte auch ein anderer Music Anbieter sein) aber da steckt ja ein Wert hinter.
