in reply to Paolo Redaelli • • •@paoloredaelli the criteria to which it might apply, may one day also apply to instances of chat services, other than yous, and your instance may be federated with the instance to which it applies, because you chat with people from that instance, and therefore, at least some of conversations will still be spied.

Given the richness of the #Xmpp extensions I won't be surprised to discover it is a problem already dealt with.

I give it to you that this is no system for mass processing. But how do the countries plan to counter if I encrypt my email (currently with curve 25519)? The criminals will find a way around, but the normal people will be completely surveilled.

Accessibility-wise: mainly that links are not underlined, and images are not clickable
Text-wise: too much information that may be overwhelming for a casual reader, no descriptions for some of the words, and some inconsistencies and typos.
Perhaps surface easier-to-understand (and easier-to-read) TL:DR sections for some of the content? Your average Joe most likely won't understand some of the legalese or complex language on the site.
