Sach mal, aber Politiker verstehen nicht, dass mit Vereinfachen weniger Seiten, weniger Dokumentationsaufwand, weniger Zeitaufwand, weniger sich wiedersprechende Gesetze, ... und NICHT mehr Ausnahmen gemeint ist, oder?
Das juristische Tauziehen um den Einwilligungsstandard TCF für Online-Werbung hat vorerst ein Ende. Ob die Entscheidung eines belgischen Gerichts das intransparente Online-Tracking beenden wird, ist trotzdem unklar. Sowohl Datenschützer:innen als auch die Werbeindustrie verbuchen das Urteil als Erfolg.

Vielen Dank an @roofjoke für die verständliche Aufarbeitung dieses komplexen Themas. Aus Nutzenden-/Bürger*innensicht wäre es am erfreulichsten, wenn die drangsalierenden Abfragen und das maßlose Tracking auf so gut wieder jeder Webseite ein Ende hätten. Alternativen gibt es ja, siehe z.B. nicht personalisierte Werbung.

Verantwortungsdiffusion ist auch abseits der Digitalisierung und auch bei Unternehmen der Wirtschaft so allgegenwärtig, dass ich sie für einen Grundpfeiler des Mindsets der Deutschen halte.
Ihretwegen wollen die meisten Leute Probleme nicht lösen, sondern nur loswerden.
Deswegen bewegt sich hier seit Jahrzehnten nix, und sogar was schon da ist, verfällt und verrottet. Denn auch der Erhalt des Status Quo würde die Übernahme von Verantwortung erfordern.
Wer genau ist aktuell am Erfolg auch nur eines Digitalvorhabens ernshaft interessiert?
Die Zivil-Gesellschaft? Nope.
Die Politik? Nope.
Win-Win, wie es aussieht.
