Dopo oltre tre anni di lavoro, il destino delle chat crittografate in Europa è tutt'altro che deciso. Il 12 settembre 2025, gli Stati membri dell'UE hanno dovuto condividere la loro posizione definitiva sull'ultima versione della proposta di Regolamento sugli abusi sessuali sui minori (CSAR).
Ancora una volta, il disegno di legge non è riuscito a ottenere il sostegno necessario. La versione danese di ciò che i critici hanno definito Chat Control richiederebbe a tutti i fornitori di servizi di messaggistica operanti in Europa di analizzare le chat degli utenti, anche se crittografate, nel tentativo di rilevare e bloccare la diffusione di materiale pedopornografico (CSAM).

Laut der Rezension haben die politischen Forderungen des Autors (Handyverbot an Schulen, technische Altersverifikation) wenig mit den von ihm identifizierten Problemen zu tun (Kinder machen am Handy die Nacht durch, werden mit psychologischen Tricks am Gerät gehalten, mobben oder werden gemobt im Klassenchat, teilen fragwürdige Inhalte ebendort, suchen und finden fragwürdige Inhalte, im Zweifel auf ausländischen Seiten, die sich nicht im unseren Jugendschutz scheren, etc.) Leitet der Autor diese Forderungen irgendwie her?

Seit wann hat denn der Ruf nach härteren Gesetzen für mehr Sicherheit etwas mit Sicherheit zu tun?
Geht es denn dabei (im günstigsten Fall) nicht eher darum, die Unfähigkeit zur Umsetzung bestehender Gesetze zu kaschieren und sich die zukünftige Arbeit, ohne Rücksicht auf die Gefahren, zu erleichtern?
Wenn Grundrechte in Gefahr sind, ist die GFF am Start - und das seit mittlerweile 10 Jahren.

Und wieder ein Moment wo man wieder den Dezentralen Messengern aufmerksamkeit schenken könnte.
So angestrengt wie die Überwachung immer wieder eingeführt werden soll, vertraue ich zunehmend nicht mal mehr denen die sagen (ohne dass jemand das richtig kontrollieren kann) dass sie keine Hintertür haben. Erstmal egal für wen.

We will then decide whether to file a class action #lawsuit. ⚖️

Second occasion: Now with my correct name, about a year later, 7 data transfers within 2 seconds.
Third occasion: 4 days after the second occasion, 15 data transfers within 5 minutes. 🤔
