Ich arbeite ja gerade viel zu Polizeigesetzen und merke immer wieder: wenn die Linke in dem jeweiligen Landtag sitzt, gibt es immerhin eine Instanz, die sie kritisch hinterfragt. Bzw. führen Landtagsfraktionen mit Linke-Beteiligung Unsinn wie Verhaltensscanner, Gesichtersuchmaschine oder Datenanalyse nach Palantir-Art gar nicht ein.
In Thüringen gibt es jetzt eine Sondersituation: Weil die Linke dort Opposition einer Minderheitsregierung ist, die nicht mit der AfD zusammenarbeiten möchte, könnte sie das dortige Polizeigesetz aufhalten. Der innenpolitische Sprecher der Fraktion @die_linke_th hat mir erklärt, unter welchen Bedingungen sie es stoppen – oder unterstützen würde.

Es ist beinah absurd, wie wenig Widerstand es gerade gegen die allseitige Verschärfung von Polizeigesetzen gibt. Verhaltensscanner, Gesichtersuchmaschine und Datenanalyse nach Palantir-Art sind das neue normal.
Umso mehr hat es mich gefreut, auf junge Menschen zu stoßen, die sich wehren. Diese Thüringer Nachwuchsjurist*innen wollen sich mit der Verschärfung des Landes-Polizeigesetzes nicht abfinden. Und ihre Aussichten, es zu stoppen, sind gar nichtmal schlecht!

Ich finde das Erinnerungsvermögen von manchen in der Ex-DDR schon hilfreich.
Und auch, dass sie die Akten nicht so schnell schreddern konnten, damit Aufklärung betrieben werden konnte, was den Menschen dort angetan wurde.
Software kann Menschen per Mausklick nackt machen. Solche nicht-einvernehmlichen Deepfakes wollen EU-Rat und EU-Parlament verbieten. Über den KI-Omnibus soll das Verbot Teil der KI-Verordnung werden.

Formazione obbligatoria sulla sicurezza (scuola), unica possibilità gratuita iscrivendosi a servizio esterno con cessione dei dati personali: aiuto!
EDIT: correggo le diciture delle prime frasi perché ho appurato che il corso posso farlo liberamente anche da privato (perciò la scuola non mi impone né obbliga a usare la piattaforma che propone), anche se ovviamente in questo caso sarà a spese mie e dovrò pensare io a cercare il corso ecc.
Segnalo i cambiamenti con il grassetto corsivo.
Resta comunque valido il punto centrale del topic: credo che la scuola abbia fatto una pessima proposta, tra quelle disponibili sul mercato, perché invia i dati raccolti a troppe piattaforme internazionali con sedi fuori dall'Italia e dalla UE (Stati Uniti, Malta).
La mia scuola mi propone di registrarmi alla piattaforma Docendo Academy per conseguire l'attestazione obbligatoria per la sicurezza sul lavoro, ma questo comporta l'acquisizione di dati sensibili da parte di Amazon, Google, Microsoft e altri.
Ho deciso di rifiutare la proposta della scuola e provvederò in proprio e a mie spese all'adempimento dell'obbligo di legge.
Sto preparando un'email per spiegare al mio DS come, pur desiderando partecipare al corso, non sia stato messo nelle condizioni di farlo utilizzando la possibilità gratuita offerta dalla scuola senza rinunciare a parte dei miei diritti in fatto di privacy e protezione dell'identità digitale.
Ho infatti ricevuto (come tutti i miei colleghi) l'email che trovate nella prima immagine, direttamente dalla Docendo Academy a cui la scuola ha passato il mio indirizzo istituzionale (MS365). Pare che questo possano farlo senza il mio consenso perché si tratta dell'adempimento di un obbligo di legge, perciò non voglio contestare questo punto.
La registrazione sulla piattaforma prevede però l'inserimento di dati sensibili, di cui alle successive immagini (le successive alle prime 4 sono nei commenti per permettere agli utenti mastodon di visualizzarle tutte).
Poiché un collega mi aveva segnalato il problema, sono arrivato all'ultimo passaggio dopo aver inserito dati falsi per prova (compreso un codice fiscale non valido e un indirizzo/CAP inesistenti, dati che il sistema non ha minimamente verificato in questa fase) e ho trovato la pagina relativa al consenso, che obbliga al trattamento dei dati da parte di AWS/Amazon.
Ho aperto il link relativo alla privacy policy (gestito da Iubenda) e ho trovato i dettagli, tra i quali spiccano le raccolte di dati per profilazione (senza possibilità di opt-out) da parte di: Google (cloud, pubblicità, statistica e altro), Meta (pubblicità, statistica), Amazon (hosting), HubSpot (database utenti), X (pubblicità), LinkedIn (pubblicità) ecc...
Per molti di questi servizi di terze parti non è neanche ben chiaro quali dati siano trattati, perché si rimanda alle privacy policy dei singoli enti (lunghissime, in inglese) e perché a volte comprendono l'utilizzo di script di tracciamento non meglio specificati.
Chiedo l'aiuto del Fediverso perché a me la cosa sembra grave (non alla maggioranza dei miei colleghi naturalmente, che si è registrata immediatamente con grande naturalezza).
Vorrei se possibile che mi aiutaste a definire bene perché la cosa è grave: "lesione della privacy" è troppo generico e debole (socialmente) in questo periodo storico. Vorrei trovare qualche definizione ben fatta di etica digitale, buone pratiche, cattive pratiche, identità digitale ecc... Possibilmente vorrei citare qualche articolo specifico sulle implicazioni delle società qui citate in gravi "nefandezze" a livello mondiale, dalla sorveglianza di massa al coinvolgimento nelle guerre in corso. Insomma, materiale e idee, ad integrare le ricerche che ovviamente sto facendo io...

Es ist so ein wenig lustig, dass das ja auch ein wenig von dem KI-Gedöns kommt, dass Lobbyismus an der Definition von Pseudonymisierung drehen will.
Deutschland setzt sich im EU-Rat offenbar dafür ein, dass pseudonymisierte Daten teilweise von der Datenschutzgrundverordnung ausgenommen werden. Zivilgesellschaft und Datenschutzbehörden warnen davor, auch andere Mitgliedstaaten sind dagegen.netzpolitik.org/2026/verhandlu…

1/ 🪅 Great news!
Today, the #EuropeanParliament voted to improve the Commission’s proposal for another extension of the ePrivacy derogation (often called "Chat Control1.0").
A large majority agreed that:
✅ Mass surveillance of private communications by Big Tech companies is not allowed, and any intrusion into people’s right to confidential communications needs to be based on reasonable suspicion;
✅ End-to-end encrypted communications cannot be weakened or undermined.

2/ 🤔 This law was only ever meant to be temporary because of the serious limitation it puts on the right to privacy in Europe - but it's now well into its fifth year. The Parliament has at least reduced this new extension by 8 months compared to the Commission’s proposal.
Final negotiations are starting this week, the Council did not amend the Commission’s text in their position.
We are waiting to see what the final law will look like.

Today, a Dutch judge ruled in favour of EDRi member @bitsoffreedom of Freedom in the appeal vs. Meta.
Facebook and Instagram users will be free to choose how information appears in their feed - and not be forced into algorithmic timelines - will remain intact.
But the fight isn’t over as Meta is still ignoring these rules in other European countries.

I have not heard a single piece of information or news about the @EUCommission that has improved my opinion of them in, well, forever.
Why is this obviously captured puppet show still allowed to unashamedly attack #EU citizens, their #digital rights, #eusovereignty & #gdpR, on behalf of non-european organisations that so clearly have only their own despicable interests at heart?
They do more harm to the EU than all terrorist organisations combined - destroying it from within.

1/ Today, we filed a complaint with the 🇧🇪 Digital Services Coordinator vs. YouTube under the #DSA.
We challenge how YouTube uses deceptive interface design to steer users towards its profiling-based recommender system.
YouTube curates & ranks content primarily through systems that monitor & analyse user behaviour.
🤖 Clicks, likes, shares, watch time & interaction patterns are used to predict & shape future behaviour, influencing what billions of users see online.

2/ Under the #DSA, VLOPs must provide at least one recommender option not based on profiling.
While Youtube formally offers one, accessing is not easy. Users must navigate through multiple layers of settings, interpret technical terminology, & actively override default configurations.
‼️In this setting, safeguards are merely symbolic: this is why we have asked to investigate YouTube’s compliance with the DSA and to take effective enforcement action.
