in reply to Patrick Breyer • • •Reflection: I don't email my MEPs very often, but I've always gotten some sort of response from at least one or two (even if clearly an intern just replying with some boilerplate) - until now. Both of the emails I've sent the last few months regarding Chat Control have had absolutely no responses whatsoever.
I do use ProtonMail, which in some cases could be a sign that there's automatic blackholing, but I use my own domain so it would be a very extreme case if so.
Just a data point, if you hear others with similar experienced.

in reply to Patrick Breyer • • •I wrote to Irish MEPs 4 months ago. Only one replied: Maria Walsh, a member of the LIBE Committee. She was strongly in favour of the proposed legislation and accepted the adequacy of controls. My reply:
"The technology for detection of child sexual abuse content can be repurposed for detection of anything a govt wants detected...
I will monitor the votes of Irish MEPs and will donate generously at the next election to the opponents of anyone voting in favour of this legislation."
