Carceri, torture nella struttura di Sollicciano a Firenze: condannati un'ispettrice e otto agenti
I due detenuti, un marocchino e un italiano, sarebbero stati picchiati come punizione per intemperanze minori. Una vittima riportรฒ la frattura di due costole, l'altra un timpano perforato.
In primo grado, l'accusa di tortura era stata derubricata in lesioni, e gli episodi di falso e calunnia erano caduti. In appello, invece, hanno ritenuto gli imputati responsabili anche del reato di tortura. All'ispettrice, ritenuta dai giudici l'istigatrice delle presunte torture, รจ stata inflitta la condanna piรน pesante: 5 anni e 4 mesi. Gli agenti sono stati condannati a pene comprese tra 4 anni e 4 mesi e 3 anni e 4 mesi.
E gli altri agenti che lavorano a Sollicciano dov'erano mentre una decina di colleghi li ammazzava di botte? Nessuno si รจ accorto di nulla?

Sto provando a farmi un utente, ho visto che ci sono due prodotti, kDrive e kSuite. Io volevo fare solo kDrive ma vedo che la procedura di registrazione ti chiede di crearti una mail sul loro server. A questo punto mi domando perchรฉ fare kDrive e non direttamente kSuite visto che comunque anche per avere solo kDrive devi farti una mail con loro?

Assolutamente impensabile oggi! Anche perchรฉ siamo diventati ancora piรน dipendenti dagli USA, soprattutto da un punto di vista tecnologico.
Vabbรจ ai tempi non c'era tutta questa dipendenza, va bene, perรฒ le ingerenze USA nella vita politica italiana erano molto piรน forti di ora.
ร che al di lร di tutto, prima c'erano anche politici con gli attributi, adesso... insomma... sรฌ forse qualcuno sรฌ ma cosรฌ su due piedi non mi viene in mente neanche un nome.
Il sovranismo all'italiana: maschia difesa delle frontiere dall'invasione di quattro poveracci (che secondo l'INPS ci farebbero pure comodo) e servile genuflessione al potente di turno (per evitare ripercussioni sull'export di formaggi, salsicce e vestiti fighetti).
Vorrei poter pagare una parte almeno delle mie tasse alla Francia, tanto per sentirmi rappresentato da qualcuno un po' meno servile.

I would suggest then that the problem is not the number, but the veto itself.
Unfortunately we haven't a different solution to solve international issues than discussing and find a reasonable agreement.
Anyway, there's something we can do to facilitate the process.
1) move ONU in a different place.
This is the same reason Washington DC exist. The capitol city cannot be subject to a state. ONU should be an independent state. Best would be creating a new country, e.g. in the north of Gaza, named United Nations.
2) Blu helmets army should be funded by all ONU members, not assigned forces.
They should be loyal to ONU principles, not to their individual contry
3) have public streaming sessions on general meetings, and veto must be explained

Ho letto il vostro post con la recensione di Filen e volevo segnalarvi che in fondo, in materia di audit di terze parti (ovvero, quando lo faranno), viene linkato un post di Reddit del 2022 che ormai mi sembra superato.
Ho trovato un aggiornamento sul loro sito di pochi mesi fa in cui dicono che prevedono di fare l'audit nella prima metร del 2026.

Quello che sta succedendo dimostra chiaramente che l'attuale governo americano non si fa scrupoli a ricattare i suoi alleati quando non si allineano ai suoi interessi, credo sia piรน urgente che mai prepararsi a fare senza i servizi informatici made in USA (mail, cloud, sicurezza, ecc.).
Se fino a qualche settimana fa la cosa poteva essere liquidata come un giochino da nerd sinistrorsi adesso a mio parere dovrebbe essere vista come una scelta strategica da implementare nel breve periodo.
Non รจ la preparazione ad un boicottaggio ma un'azione per garantire la disponibilitร dei servizi necessari al funzionamento di ospedali, scuole, banche, amministrazione pubblica, ecc.

I've got an odd request.
Does anyone have any idea how to get from Australia to the UK, without flying?
My in-laws are currently stuck on the east coast of Australia. One of them got very sick on a cruise. And long story short. They have been told they cannot fly ever again. It's too risky for what has happened, they're in the ICU - recovering, feeling better, but cannot fly ever again.
Hubs might have to go over there for a couple of months to help them out (his studio has a studio in the city they are in. This is the easy part).
They are looking at getting on another cruise ship, but the next one is in March, and if they miss that. They're stuck there even longer.
So, I am making a request to see if anyone knows if there is any other possible way to get them back to the UK without using planes.
The in-laws are in their late 70s, so there may be some limitations (they are obviously not going to be fit to help out on a catamaran or something).

Thatยดs what I was thinking, it won't be anything swanky, but getting home on a cargo ship _will get you home_... I'd download a lot of books and maybe a few offline games or whatever...
Oh, and maybe choose something that's going via the Cape of Good Hope... the southern approaches to the Suez are gonna be _dicey_ for the foreseeable.
What you'll probably need to do is pick something that's going to Rotterdam or one of the German ports; there are things that go to Southampton or Liverpool or even London proper but RTM is far more popular... and from anywhere in Europe you can either take Eurostar or a ferry back to the UK proper...
@DamonHD Yeah, this was the first place my head went to, too. I had tentatively suggested this to my husband (hell, I would do it), but he doesn't think they will go for it. I'm still going to take a look at routes just incase they do get stuck for months and just want to get home.
