Look at this one. Article today, incident from 18 months ago. 60 minutes from a venting private message, to AI flag, to fbi, to cops showing up at this teacher’s classroom to arrest her. Night in jail, job lost. Article doesn’t even mention who terrified the kids must’ve been.
Now tell me: in this year of our larde, would you trust any one of these corporations that can read your messages to differentiate between “I’m gonna shoot the fam today” (with a gun) and “I’m gonna shoot the fam today” (as a photographer)? Or any other of the infinite number of potential misunderstandings or typos? Hell, I wouldn’t trust a human to do that, much less a bot!
These corporate platforms are a safety threat to the people we love… that’s an understatement. We gotta be having these convos with the people we care about to get them off these platforms.
