Gli scopi della guerra non sono gli stessi per Israele e gli USA. La guerra americana è una espressione della crisi nel dominio mondiale degli USA a seguito della perdita del primato militare e tecnologico fin qui posseduto e con cui hanno fatto il bello e cattivo tempo su tutto il globo. Adesso ha concorrenti che, tramite investimenti in ricerca e applicazioni, sono in grado di contrastarlo alla pari o, per alcune tecnologie, per superiorità. Quindi è evidente che lo scopo degli USA, non solo del presidente per il quale è inutile pensare che basta "togliergli il fiasco" per tornare alla normalità, è il ritorno alla dipendenza energetica del mondo dai carburanti fossili. Per questo si appropria delle riserve del Venezuela, promuove le guerre di Israele contro i produttori di petrolio e gas del medio oriente, mette le mani sulle potenziali riserve dell'artico attaccando persino gli alleati, e fa la guerra a chi sostiene il riscaldamento globale, non perché non è vero o non ci crede, ma per far sopravvivere mediante il ricatto energetico il dominio americano che è già perso. In questo quadro la situazione del mondo appare nella sua profonda criticità e ci obbliga a valutare in negativo il nostro futuro nelle mani di una potenza nucleare che è scossa dalla propria coscienza di un declino irreversibile.

One of the problems with being a graffiti artist is that you have to carry around a different spray can for each color you intend to use. [Sandesh Manik] decided to solve this problem by building a rig that can produce a wider range of colors by mixing the paint from several cans at once. Check it out in the video below.
The project is called Spectrum. It uses four off-the-shelf spray paint cans—colored red, blue, yellow, and white—and mixes them to create a wider range of colors. All four cans are hooked up to a single output nozzle via a nest of tubing and a four-to-one tube manifold. Key to controlling the flow of paint is a custom device which [Sandesh] calls the “rotary pinch valve,” with one fitted to the feed line coming from each spray can. These valves use a motor-driven lever to pinch a plastic tube shut, allowing them to control the paint flow. This design keeps the mechanism and paint completely separate, which was important to stop paint from fouling the valves in short order. It also prevents backflow, which keeps the paint going towards the outlet and prevents ugly messes. By quickly actuating the valve, the paint flow from each can is modulated to mix various colors as desired.
The mixing valves are under the command of an Arduino Nano. The microcontroller reads a series of knobs to select the amount of each component color to mix, and displays relevant information on a screen. Then, when a pushbutton is pressed, the valves are actuated to spit out the right amount of each paint from the atomizer nozzle. [Sandesh] went so far as to include an advanced “gradient” mode, where a force-sensitive button allows the device to transition smoothly from one color to another depending on how hard the button is pushed.
It’s a neat concept which we’d love to see explored further, perhaps with a more traditional selection of CMYK paints rather than the more unusual red, yellow, blue, and white. We’ve also seen some fun spray paint projects before, like this neat wall-mount plotter. Video after the break.

Leonardo si arricchisce sempre di più, lo nonostante il divieto di vendere direttamente armi all'occupante s1onista (infatti lo fa tramite società terze ) e lo fa grazie al riarmo per la fintissima “minaccia russa”. Il colosso italiano ha annunciato la crescita fuori dalle aspettative della compagnia, e un aumento della distribuzione dei dividendi che dovrebbe corrispondere a circa il 20% in più rispetto al 2024. Nel 2025, l’azienda ha registrato un aumento significativo e superiore alle aspettative in tutti gli indicatori: gli ordini hanno registrato un incremento del 13,5%, toccando quota 23,8 miliardi di euro, anche grazie a «un importante ordine nel settore Aeronautica, in un contesto di mercato nel quale la domanda di sicurezza resta elevata»; i ricavi sono cresciuti del 9,8% «con un incremento in doppia cifra in tutti i settori di business», e si sono attestati a 19,5 miliardi di euro. Questi risultati sono stati possibili anche grazie alla guerra in Ucraina e al g3nocidio in P4lestina e agli annunci di riarmo sempre più frequenti dei leader europei che vogliono portare il nostro continente sull'orlo di una terza guerra Mondiale nucleare. Questa vicenda è molto ma molto grave: un Ministro della Difesa che si trova bloccato in un Paese estero, in mezzo a una guerra pericolosissima e che intacca direttamente gli interessi del nostro Paese, non sarebbe immaginabile nemmeno nei film.
Qua ci sono due questioni fondamentali: la prima riguarda i padroni di Washington e Tel Aviv, che nonostante gli abbiano leccato tutto ciò che si potesse leccare muovono guerra senza nemmeno mandare un WhatsApp.
E poi c'è una questione di sicurezza nazionale: non è proprio il massimo per un Paese avere bloccato, nel mezzo di una guerra, un Ministro della Difesa.
Ma ci rendiamo conto di cosa è diventata l'Italia? A furia di servire, questi presunti patrioti e sovranisti non vengono nemmeno avvisati, tanto da non riuscire a mettere in sicurezza le proprie Istituzioni. Ridicoli e pericolosi!
Non chiamatelo almeno “attacco preventivo”: bombardare l’Iran è stata un’aggressione premeditata e deliberata, non scaturita da alcuna minaccia imminente. L’Iran non voleva la guerra e non pensava di usare armi di distruzione contro Israele e non perché sia un paese di pacifisti innocui ma perché sapeva che un attacco a Israele avrebbe decretato la distruzione dell’Iran e la fine del regime. Che è avvenuta comunque, anche in mancanza di un’azione aggressiva di Teheran. Certo, il regime degli ayatollah è repressivo e liberticida, una parte della popolazione, non sappiamo se maggioritaria, lo sostiene e un’altra lo detesta. Non sappiamo davvero quale delle due sia maggioritaria e quanto sia estesa la zona grigia nel mezzo. Non sappiamo quanto sia reale la rappresentazione che ne viene data in occidente e quanto la protesta sia autoctona e genuina o manovrata, sobillata dall’esterno. Ma ci fa inorridire un ordine mondiale imposto con la forza delle armi e la prepotenza dei capi; un impero che decide in modo unilaterale chi merita di stare sulla faccia della terra e chi no, e un paese che può impunemente da anni colpire i paesi vicini. Un imperatore prepotente affiancato da un criminale di guerra, sterminatore di popolo, che decidono a loro insindacabile e irreparabile giudizio chi sono i Criminali da uccidere e quelli invece che sono amici e alleati. Trump e Netanyau stanno mettendo a rischio il pianeta, l’equilibrio internazionale e stanno legittimando con le loro azioni di guerra altri soprusi e altre aggressioni nel mondo. Speriamo che l’attacco non si estenda e non inneschi altri conflitti interni e internazionali. E l’Italia? Cosa volete che possa fare, è stata tenuta all’oscuro di tutto, come una minorenne. Not so long ago, most computer users didn’t own their own machines. Instead, they shared time on mainframes or servers, interacting with this new technology through remote terminals. While the rise of cloud computing and AI might feel like a modern, more dystopian echo of that era, some look back on those early days with genuine fondness. If you agree, check out this 70s-era terminal replica from [David Green].
The inspiration for this build was a Lear Siegler ADM-3A terminal seen at a local computer festival. These machines had no local computing resources and were only connected to their host computer via a serial connection. The new enclosure, modeled on this design, was 3D-printed and then assembled and finished for the classic 70s look. There are a few deviations from a 70s terminal, though: notably, a flat LCD panel and a Raspberry Pi 3, which, despite being a bit limited by today’s standards, still offers orders of magnitude more computing power than the average user in the 70s would have had access to.
On the software side, there are a few modifications to allow the Pi 3 to emulate a CRT-style display. It also runs the i3 windows manager, which was the easiest way to replicate the feel of an old terminal without going command-line-only. With the Pi’s computing power available, though, it’s easier to run emulators for older computer systems, and there’s perhaps no better way to get a sense of how these systems behaved than to use a replica from the era. Another excellent way is to completely reimagine what these computers could have been like in an alternate past.
La morte di #Khamenei apre una fase di incertezza strutturale per il sistema iraniano, più che una finestra lineare verso la democrazia. Il potere formale passa a un consiglio ad interim in attesa che l’ “Assemblea degli esperti” scelga una nuova guida, ma il baricentro reale resta nella convergenza (o nello scontro) tra burocrazia religiosa e apparato di sicurezza.
L’assenza di un erede designato e la natura personalistica del ruolo rendono la successione un momento potenzialmente caotico, in cui aree di regime e opposizioni in esilio cercheranno di capitalizzare il vuoto.
Per la società iraniana, già provata da anni di repressione sanguinosa delle proteste, il lutto ufficiale convive con un sentimento diffuso di stanchezza e rabbia, non necessariamente organizzato ma profondo.
Una transizione democratica richiede però soggetti concreti, non solo un “momento favorevole”: esiste un arcipelago di attori come riformisti interni, opposizione organizzata all’estero, reti civili femministe e studentesche, ma sono divisi, sospettosi tra loro e privi di meccanismi condivisi per il dopo-regime.
Il rischio immediato è che la continuità autoritaria, con un leader più debole ma un apparato spregiudicato, appaia la soluzione meno costosa per chi detiene le armi.
L’Occidente può facilitare, non sostituire, un processo di democratizzazione, evitando che la morte di Khamenei sia letta solo in chiave militare e securitaria: gestire il “rischio” rischia di accettare un nuovo autoritarismo prevedibile.
Un ruolo utile passa da sostegno politico e tecnico a piani di transizione iraniani (road map laiche e pluraliste già elaborate), apertura mirata a società civile, media indipendenti, sindacati e università, e revisione delle sanzioni che riduca l’impatto sui cittadini colpendo selettivamente le strutture repressive.
Meno “Regime Change”, più garanzie per chi si espone: canali sicuri per l’esilio, protezione per i difensori dei diritti umani, riconoscimento rapido di un governo di transizione rappresentativo. Anche in uno scenario ideale, la democrazia iraniana resterà un cammino lungo e intermittente, ma le scelte occidentali nei prossimi mesi possono renderlo percorribile.

Buongiorno a tutti, come saprete dalla nostra precedente comunicazione, stiamo aspettando ad aggiornare il nostro server alla nuova release 2026.01 perché, a detta degli stessi sviluppatori, l'aggiornamento potrebbe rendere indisponibile il server "per alcune ore o alcuni giorni".
Ciò premesso, ultimamente stiamo riscontrando da parte di diversi utenti un nuovo fastidioso problema, ossia che il tentativo di inviare un nuovo messaggio diretto (quel tipo di messaggi leggibili solo dal destinatario) può portare a un crash della propria sessione e all'annullamento dell'invio stesso.
Ora non abbiamo ancora capito se il problema è dovuto all'orrendo database di Friendica, un mostro in MariaDB, più ingombrante di un db Oracle e meno efficiente di un MS Access 2007, ma sinceramente non abbiamo né la voglia né il tempo né probabilmente le capacità di indagare oltre.
Perciò speriamo di risolvere il problema con la rel. 2026.01 o dovremo iniziare a valutare soluzioni alternative.

Dopo che per troppi anni il 1° maggio a Roma era diventato un semplice giorno di festa, eccezion fatta per l'impegno di compagni e compagne che avevano provato, in pochi, a farlo essere ancora una giornata di lotta, lo scorso anno siamo riusciti a costruire un corteo partecipato da circa mille persone nei quartieri Prenestino e Torpignattara. Quest'anno vogliamo continuare il percorso di crescita, con l'obiettivo che passo dopo passo il corteo del 1° maggio torni ad essere una mobilitazione di massa. Vogliamo porre di nuovo al centro le necessità e le problematiche della classe lavoratrice: prima di tutto le condizioni salariali e lavorative, la precarietà e le pensioni. Insieme a queste, tutte le questioni e le istanze che non dipendono direttamente dal rapporto di lavoro ma che influenzano le vite di lavoratori e lavoratrici: la salute, l'istruzione, le differenze di genere, la repressione, il riarmo e la preparazione della guerra mondiale.
Mercoledì 4 marzo organizziamo un'assemblea pubblica per costruire con tutte le realtà e i compagni interessati il corteo di quest'anno: un corteo che percorrerà di nuovo le strade di Roma Est ma che vogliamo non sia solo territoriale: crediamo debba diventare patrimonio di tutte e tutti quelli che a Roma e provincia sanno che l'unico modo per essere all'altezza dei nostri tempi è rilanciare la lotta di classe.

The timer mechanism of the Vend-o-Vision. (Credit: SpaceTime Junction, YouTube) There was a time before portable TVs and personal media players when the idea of putting coin-operated TVs everywhere, from restaurants to airports and laundromats, would have seemed like a solid business model. Thus was born the Vend-o-Vision by Mini-TV USA, which presented itself as a cash earner for businesses and a way to make their customers even happier. One of these new-in-box units recently made its way over to [Mark] of the SpaceTime Junction YouTube channel.
This unit is very simple, with what appears to be an off-the-shelf Panasonic black-and-white TV with UHF and VHF reception capability, inside a metal box that contains the timer mechanism, which is linked to the coin mechanism. Depending on a physical slider with three positions, you get anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes per quarter, with the customer having to tune into the station themselves using the TV’s controls. A counter mechanism is provided as an option.

(Credit: SpaceTime Junction, YouTube) As would be expected from a new-in-box unit, after chiseling off the 30-odd-year-old Styrofoam packaging, it fires right up and works fine. Of course, it’s a small black-and-white TV, so it’s not incredibly useful, and clearly wasn’t even back in 1989 when the Vend-o-Vision first appeared.
After some finagling with adapters, [Mark] gets everyone’s favorite movie playing on the tiny screen, giving us the first glimpse of what it would have been like to gaze at this miracle of technology back around the early 1990s in a noisy laundromat or restaurant. One can hardly imagine why it didn’t catch on.
We can see a patent for this appear in a 1990 scan of the USPTO’s gazette, where it’s listed as being first in commercial operation on the 29th of November 1989. The system was short-lived, however, with in 1995 the FTC settling with the company for deceptive practices, as the company had overinflated the projected earnings per TV when it started flaunting it at tradeshows in 1990. A few years prior, Mini TV USA appears to have already ceased operations, making these remaining Vend-o-Vision quite rare indeed. These types of coin-operated TVs were usually in public places or hotels. But we’ve seen coin-operated TVs that briefly appeared in homes, too.

At first glance, it may look like [Rybitski]’s 7-segment RGB LED clock is something that’s been done before, but look past the beautiful mounting. It’s not just stylishly framed; the back end is just as attentively executed. It’s got a built-in web UI, MQTT automation, so Home Assistant integration is a snap, and allows remote OTA updates, so software changes don’t require taking the thing down and plugging in a cable.
A slick web interface allows configuring which LEDs belong to which segments without code changes. Pixel Clock is code for the Wemos D1 Mini microcontroller board and WS2812/WS2812B RGB LED strips, but it’s made to be flexible enough to support different implementations. For example, altering which LEDs in the strip belong to which segments on which digits can be configured entirely from the web interface. Naturally, one could build an LED strip clock using the same layout [Rybitski] did and require no changes at all — but it’s very nice to see that different wiring layouts are supported without needing to edit any code. There’s even automatic brightness adjustment if one adds an LDR (light-dependent resistor), which is a nice touch.
[Rybitski]’s enclosure is CNC-routed MDF, framed and given a marble finish. The number segments are capped with laser-cut frosted white acrylic, which serve as both diffuser for the LEDs and an attractive fit with the marble finish at the front. MDF is dense and opaque enough that no additional baffles or louvers are needed between segments.
With this code and an RGB LED strip, you can implement your own 7-segment clock any way you like, focusing on an artful presentation instead of re-inventing the wheel in software. Of course, there’s nothing that says one must use 7-segment numerals; some say your LED clock need not display numbers at all.

Scientists Reveal the Surprising Sex Lives of Neanderthals and Early Humans
Welcome back to the Abstract! Here are the studies this week that exposed prehistoric hookups, marched toward death, feasted on their own bodies, and found a buried legend in the Sahara.
First, Neanderthal males had lots more babies with human females than human males had with Neanderthal females. What’s up with that?! Then, strap in for a stellar swan song, antlers for breakfast, and a timeless style icon from the Cretaceous.
Humans and our close relatives, Neanderthals, produced children together many times before the latter went extinct about 40,000 years ago. As a result, the vast majority of people living today carry a pinch of Neanderthal DNA—the enduring proof of past copulations between our species.
Now, scientists have proposed that these prehistoric partnerships overwhelmingly occurred between Neanderthal males and females of our own species, Homo sapiens, with far fewer couplings between Neanderthal females and human males. This strong sexual bias provides the most "parsimonious” explanation for the uneven distribution of Neanderthal alleles (variants of specific genes) in modern human genomes, according to a new study.
“One of the notable features evident in alignments of Neanderthal genomes to those of modern humans is the presence of ‘Neanderthal deserts’ within modern human genomes: genomic regions where Neanderthal alleles are conspicuously rare in the modern human (and ancient modern human) gene pool,” said researchers led by Alexander Platt of the University of Pennsylvania. This meme, provided by lead author Alexander Platt, is NOT part of the scientific study. But perhaps somebody should consider founding a journal where memes are acceptable figures. In particular, the team noted that Neanderthal deserts show up on the human X chromosome, which they think hints at a strong sex bias toward breeding between Neanderthal males and human females.
The team compared Neanderthal genomes with genetic data from some sub-Saharan African populations that have no Neanderthal ancestry. This approach allowed them to track ancient gene flow from anatomically modern humans (AMHs)—in other words, our ancient Homo sapiens ancestors—into Neanderthal populations.
The results revealed that the Neanderthal X chromosomes had a 62 percent relative excess of DNA from AMHs. In other words, not only are there Neanderthal deserts on human X chromosomes, there are corollary “floods” or “oases” (whatever metaphor you like) of human DNA on Neanderthal X chromosomes.
This discovery is strong evidence that humans were contributing more alleles to the Neanderthal X chromosome, and Neanderthals were contributing less to the human X chromosome, due to an unexplained asymmetry in mate preference.
Overall, the genetic patterns the team observed “were likely colored by a persistent preference for pairings between males of predominantly Neanderthal ancestry and females of predominantly AMH ancestry over the reverse,” the researchers concluded. “The bias that we inferred seems to have remained consistent across admixture events separated by 200,000 years.”

We’ve all been there: One day, you’re an extreme red supergiant, and the next, you’re a yellow hypergiant. A new study reports that WOH G64, one of the biggest known stars in the sky, went through this “dramatic transition” sometime in 2014 (or at least, that’s when astronomers first captured this spectral shift in the star, which is located about 163,000 light years from Earth). This late-stage stellar titan offers an ultra-rare opportunity to see how red supergiants (RSGs) end their lives, a process that is shrouded in mystery—often literally, as these stars tend to be obscured by a lot of circumstellar gas.
“The apparent lack of luminous RSGs detected as supernova progenitors has sparked an ongoing debate over the fate of these stars,” said researchers led by Gonzalo Muñoz-Sanchez of the National Observatory of Athens. “WOH G64 thus provides critical insight into post-RSG evolution and the formation of dense circumstellar environments seen in core-collapse supernovae.”
It could be that WOH G64 does detonate. In fact, this may have already happened, but the light show hasn’t reached us yet. It may also collapse directly into a black hole with no supernova to show for it. We’ll just have to keep watching this space! This has been Big Star News.
Antlers in deer are usually a male ornamentation that allows females to judge potential mates based on the quality of their head-bling. Caribou females, however, buck this trend as the only female deer with antlers. So, as a folktale might ask: How did the caribou get her antlers?
One answer is that antlers make a great post-partum snack, according to a new study. In migratory populations, female caribou shed their antlers when they reach calving grounds, usually just days before they give birth, which may give nursing mothers a much-needed vitamin boost. Image: Gaetano, Madison et al. “Pervasive antler consumption by caribou suggests that synchroneity between birthing and antler shedding evinces the importance of nutrient (calcium, phosphorus) transport for supporting calf survival,” said researchers led by Madison Gaetano of the University of Cincinnati. “Though intriguing, additional research will be important to more explicitly evaluate the dietary and fitness benefits (for both females and their calves) of antler-derived nutrients.”
Given that caribou also eat their placentas, it’s really impressive how these new mothers nourish themselves and their young with the fruits of their own bodies. Hardcore. Respect.
Speaking of animals with rad headgear, we’ll close with a shoutout to Spinosaurus mirabilis, a newly-discovered species of giant carnivorous dinosaur that rocked an epic scimitar-shaped skull crest. Today, Trump and Israel initiated an illegal war on Iran. He claims it is the only way to ensure Iran does not acquire a nuclear weapon. He hopes that it will result in the overthrow of the Iranian government and Israel, at least, has targeted the leaders of Iran. Trump is lying to us.
In 2003, in contravention of the UN charter, we illegally invaded Iraq. The Bush administration used similar claims of Iraq building weapons of mass destruction to justify the invasion. As today, overthrow of the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein was also an objective of the Bush administration. That invasion was opposed by billions world-wide and millions protested against it in the United States. The invasion and occupation resulted in the deaths of between 200,000 and a million Iraqis, at least 4,431 Americans and 318 more coalition deaths. The cost to the United States of just the war in Iraq was trillions of dollars in direct and future costs. We are still dealing with the consequences of the Iraq invasion and will for decades to come.
In the recent talks the US had with Iran, Iran agreed to limit its enrichment of uranium only to the levels needed for powering civilian nuclear power plants and allow the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to monitor their nuclear program. The talks could have gotten us back to the Obama-negotiated Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, which Trump withdrew us from in 2018 and which the Biden administration did not restore. Trump now insists that Iran end their efforts to enrich uranium completely and illegally initiated this war.
This war was the choice of Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. Diplomacy was possible and they chose to throw it away. Long after they are gone from office, we will have to deal with the consequences of their choice.
It is up to us to stop this war through protest, civil disobedience and even pressuring Congress to defund this war. Here are some resources to start our journey on this struggle as well as the many other struggles for justice and human rights we face:

io mi sono molto documentate sulle auto moderne. ma le opzioni sensate di non prendere un'auto che non muore instantaneamente a 100'000 km, facendo molto km in città, sono relativamente poche. alla fine le scelte sensate sarebbero solo 2: è una elettrica pura che almeno è resistente perché è semplice (fiat da valutare, ma non ho guardato le elettriche pure, e servirebbe rivalutazione). volendo prendere una hybrid la fiat panda ibrida non è elettrica quasi per niente e soffre di mancanza di areazione dentro il cofano e in città tende a bollire. si cuociono i cavi, i sensori e tutto quello che è dentro il vano motore. questo facendo molta guida in città. ha anche una discreta complessità per via di tutti i filtri necessari per essere euro 6. le plugin hybrid soffrono del problema della maionese nell'olio motore e le batterie quasi sempre non sostituibili. alla fine senza prendere una elettrica pura l'unica auto sensata resistente in commercio full hybrid che ha un motore elettrico con una piccola batteria che sostanzialmente aiuta molto il motore termico che è sempre tenuto in temperatura e quindi non si danneggia. buoni risparmi in città anche se non elettrica in città al 100%. niente bocchettone di ricarica (presente solo su elettriche e ibride plugin) ma questo non è un problema se non è solo elettrica. il responso finale al 28/2/26 è o elettrica pura se hai modo di ricaricare a costo economico e sei disposto a lunghe attese di ricarica, oppure full hydrid toyota yaris o corolla. come vedi scegliere un'auto in questo momento è complicatissimo.

Gli #USA e #Israele hanno colpito l’ #Iran nella notte tra il 27 e il 28 febbraio 2026, inaugurando una nuova e pericolosa escalation nel Medio Oriente che non intacca le fondamenta del regime teocratico di #Teheran, ma semina caos e illusioni.
Alle prime ore del mattino italiano, intorno alle 7, Washington e Tel Aviv hanno lanciato l’operazione “Ruggito del Leone”: raid aerei coordinati su siti missilistici, nucleari e comandi di leadership politico-militare, con gli Usa mirati a infrastrutture strategiche chiave come complessi di arricchimento uranio e depositi di droni, e Israele che ha esteso i bersagli a quartier generali dei Pasdaran e figure di vertice, colpendo anche nel cuore di Teheran.
L' Iran ha reagito con una raffica di missili balistici su Israele, intercettati in gran parte dalla “Iron Dome”, e su basi americane in Qatar, Bahrein, Kuwait ed Emirati Arabi Uniti, causando decine di morti tra i civili iraniani, inclusi studenti in una scuola bombardata a Minab nel sud del Paese, e la chiusura immediata dello spazio aereo nazionale.
#Trump e #Netanyahu presentano l’attacco come “preventivo” per fermare il programma atomico iraniano, con messaggi diretti al popolo di Teheran: “Rivolgetevi contro il regime oppressore”, mentre l’ #Onu ha convocato un vertice d’urgenza bollato come “ricetta per il disastro”, #Ue, #Russia e #Cina chiedono il cessate il fuoco, con Mosca e Pechino che accusano Washington di destabilizzazione calcolata per ridisegnare gli equilibri regionali.
I mercati hanno reagito con un balzo del petrolio del 10-25%, spinto dal premio rischio, e scenari catastrofici se lo Stretto di Hormuz, da cui transita un quinto del greggio mondiale, venisse bloccato, con l’Opec che discute aumenti di produzione per arginare i picchi, ma l’instabilità cronica si traduce in inflazione galoppante, squilibri energetici e pressione sui bilanci pubblici delle economie fragili del Golfo e oltre.
I raid alimentano la propaganda del regime come “vittima dell’imperialismo occidentale”, legittimando ondate di repressione contro un dissenso interno già vivo: donne che sfidano l’hijab obbligatorio, studenti in rivolta contro la corruzione, operai esausti da austerity e inflazione.
Un intervento esterno non smantellerà un sistema radicato su apparati di sicurezza feroci, clero onnipotente e controllo sociale capillare: al contrario, prolungherà l’agonia, incentivando ricatti nucleari, “proxy wars” in #Yemen, #Siria e #Libano, e un circolo vizioso di vendette, con solo il popolo iraniano, e la sua resilienza silenziosa accumulata in decenni di proteste pagate a caro prezzo, che potrà forgiare il proprio destino.Non lo faranno di certo droni lontani o tweet dalla Casa Bianca.
Questa ennesima esplosione di violenza rivela lo stato tragico del nostro mondo: un’umanità perennemente inchiodata a conflitti asimmetrici, dove superpotenze scaricano bombe su nazioni esauste, fingendo di seminare democrazia mentre coltivano solo macerie e petrolio. Il Medio Oriente non è un’eccezione, ma un laboratorio crudele: qui, come in #Ucraina o #Gaza, i civili, iracheni ieri, iraniani oggi, pagano il prezzo di egemonie che si rinnovano solo nei nomi, in un ciclo infinito di vendette intergenerazionali dove la pace resta un optional sacrificato su altari di gasdotti e testate.
Finché l’umanità non imparerà a spegnere le fabbriche di droni e a sedersi, invece a tavoli di reale diplomazia, quella della pace e non di parole vuote e retoriche, il 2026 resterà anno di un fallimento globale.
